Bones to Support My Bones!5
This is a great supportive pillow, designed to support the head, neck and back areas when lying down or sitting. Having good results with the smaller "dog bones" to support sore neck and shoulders, I was anxious to find something to relieve the discomfort in bed/avoid always propping myself up with my elbow when watching t.v. This does the trick. It is so supportive, you can actually lie all the way down and this supports your shoulders and neck so you can watch t.v. without straining. I will warn you this is huge (check the measurements) and won't fit in a washing machine. Spot clean only.

Great Product5
Just received this product as a surprise from my husband and I LOVE it. It is much more comfortable than I thought it would be. Yes, it is large, but quite supportive. It's not too soft or too hard. Would recommend this to anyone that would like to be more comfortable when reading or watching television in bed. Thanks Amazon!!!

Great bargain!4
I can only report on these pillows based on first testing -- our trip is not for two more months. But having traveled a lot and tried these pillow at home, I'm happy to recommend THIS particular set for two reasons: 1) it's comfortable and 2) the low cost.

I read a number of reviews of various travel pillows (especially the inflatible ones) and was put off primarily because of the short life they seem to have for the rather high cost. This pillow set is 2 for $9.95 -- it's too bad Amazon no longer has them in stock at the time of this review. For $5 each, I was happy to try it. Having received it, I found them to be as comfortable as any lined plastic product could be expected. There is a thin "plush" surface (not just cold plastic) and a "cuff" around the neck that protects from the plastic seams. My wife also tried them and found them comfortable. As with any other inflatable pillow, don't over-inflate. You want your head to nestle and be supported side-to-side. The size was fine for my 16 1/2" neck and I could also wrap both hands inside next to my neck so it will handle larger sizes. My wife's neck is much smaller, but she has not trouble.

As I say, I can't speak to longevity or use for hours in a plane. If Amazon has restocked in late April, I'll add further comments.

Due to a medical condition I have to sleep in a lift chair recliner and I have tried other neck pillows and did not like them. Now I bought two of these and I just LOVE them. They are very comfortable and quite sturdy. I also like the idea that they are machine washable.

This is the only pillow that I've found that helps me sleep on the airplane! I've found it a bit bulky to stuff in my carry-on, though it's worth it for overnight trips.

I purchased this pillow about 6 months ago and absolutely love it. Due to health problems, I spend 18-20 hours a day in bed and having a comfortable bed is not a luxury but a necessity for me.

I'm back to order a few more because I have to cushion my knees by putting a pillow between them and one night I decided to try my Simmons Memory Foam pillow. It was the perfect cushioning for them and the soft cover felt so good! But then I was left not having the pillow to sleep on. I have an old neck injury and the pillow I use determines whether or not I sleep well.

My husband discovered the pillow not too long ago and really liked sleeping on it. That left me feeling very guilty because I let him use it.

And then there's our dogs...We have a pile of pillows on our bed but somehow they find this pillow and become very stubborn when I try to get them off of it.

I figure ordering another 3-4 of these should take care of all who enjoy it so much.

Very comfortable4
I slept on my stomach for much of my life, but in the last year, noticed an increased number of nights sleeping on my back. Along the way, I've lost sleep and gained more headaches. Someone suggested that I find a better pillow. When I saw this memory form pillow on Amazon, and on sale, I decided to try it out. When I received it, I was instantly happy with it. Having used it for a couple of weeks now, I've enjoyed better sleep, and probably as a result, less headaches.

The only negative aspect I've experienced with this pillow is when I sleep on my stomach. I find the back of my neck a little achy having slept on a pillow much higher than my old, nearly flat pillow. Overall, this is a good pillow, and I'd recommend it, especially if you sleep mostly on your back, and not on your stomach.

The price gone up5
This pillow is very comfortable and gives support for your neck and head. It is good for everyone who sleeps on side, on back or on stomach. I got the pillow for myself, used it for 3 months and gave it to my dad when he visited. He said his woke up with no headache unlike he normally does. However at the time of purchase, I paid $[...] and now it is more expensive. So I got a Novaform memory foam pillow from Costco for $[...]. Good deal. I love it.

Adding Sports flair to a bedroom!4
I was extremely pleased with this purchase. In remodeling my two sons bedroom with a sports theme, I was looking for items to add character to the room. The pillows did not disappoint. They are durable and fun. I'd already purchased pillows from Target which I did like, however they were made of nylon and only useful for decorating as they would easily snag. This purchase is great for decorum and play. You might want to order 2 sets.

Absolutely Adorable5
As with all products by Melissa and Doug, these pillows are wonderful. I ordered them for my grandson for Christmas and he loves playing with them. When he takes a nap, they are all piled up on the bed with him, very cute. All the pillows are pretty much life size, except the soft ball which is somewhat larger than a real softball. I really recommend these pillows for all your little sports fans.

Valued by insomniacs and geese everywhere5
I read on an allergy web site that if you own a pillow for 3 years, something like one third of it's weight is no longer pillow but dead dust mites and their excrement. That's enough to keep you up at nights. But while the lowly pillow is one of the most important keys to sleeping well, finding the right replacement for you is a personal matter and no one product will appeal to everyone. Buying one sight unseen, or unfelt, seems a little risky. I love having real down pillows, but my biggest complaint besides the sometimes mind numbing prices for a firm quality fill is the fact that they can make your head feel like a baked potato from all the heat they retain and it's hard to find one that feels sufficiently firm, if that's what you like as I do. These pillows were highly rated on every review I could find so I sent for some king sized ones here on Amazon who had the best prices, and of course the great return policy in case they were a disappointment. I found them to be well constructed with gusseted ends and surprisingly like my goose down pillows in their softness and comfort but with the feel of just right firmness, at least for my taste. They don't have the head baking heat retention of down so are comfortable, firm and cool. In short, I'm completely satisfied with everything about these pillows and would highly recommend them.

Untrue listing, but nice pillow3
The pillow does NOT have organic cotton fill. It specifically states on the package (when I received it), that the cover is organic cotton, but the fill is natural cotton (big difference to some). If this is important to you, then I wouldn't suggest buying the pillow. The pillow is very firm, but I really like that about it. It doesn't go completely flat when you lay your head on it. Occasionally I have to flip the pillow over because it gets a little stiff in spots if you don't flip it regularly. I do love the pillow, but I gave it 3 stars because the listing is untrue.

Organic Deos not Equal Comfort3
There is no doubt that these Organic pillows are decent quality. And it's great to find them on Amazon, however if you like a cushy pillow that your head can sink into, these aren't that. They are ultra firm, so if that's your preference, you will be dreamily satisfied. They are puffy and soft, but very firm.

These pillows are IT!!!5
I have chronic neck and back pain. I do nothing but whine and complain when I get up because everything hurts after laying down.

I bought two neck pillows over a week ago and have had some really promising results with them. I am not as achy as I used to be. I am not saying these things will cure it. They are just a really great aide. They are more flexible to the position you want to lay/sleep in but also hold the position you want once you are comfortable. As stated above my only complaint is you can't wash them.

I am becoming addicted to these pillows BIG TIME. I went and found a ball shaped one yesterday for when I want to sit up and read.....LOVE IT.

Impressive packaging4
I was looking for a replacement for the squish pillow I purchased from Brookstone, who doesn't seem to sell them any longer. The pillow isn't quite the quality of my original, but I am sure I will get used to it. There is always an adjustment to a new pillow. The impressive part was the packaging. The pillows were very neatly wrapped in tissue paper and there was a hand written note inside. I will definitely look for more products sold by this company. They obviously care about their products. I hope Amazon will be able to sell these again.

I ordered two of these squishy pillows, one for each of my kids for Easter. They are a huge hit with everyone in the household. ABSOLUTELY THE BEST!!!!!!!5
I do not know if I can stress enough how much I LOVE this pillow. This is my fourth pregnancy and I have tried a lot of different products out there. With my third pregnancy, I even invested in one of those pregnancy blow up beds with the hole in the center for your belly and spent 5 months sleeping on the floor in front of my bed-ugh! Okay on to the Comfort-U total body pillow. What I love about it is it has just the right amount of firmness and softness to support your head, your legs, your belly or whatever you want to prop up or lay on. I do not need to use any other pillows with this while I am sleeping. I do use my regular pillow to prop me up more when I sit up and watch television, but do not need it to sleep. Let me say, I am a pillow snob-take my pillow with me on vacations, to visit family, etc...because I like a nice mushy pillow. This was my problem with the other body pillows; they were either too firm or too flat and I still had a fort of pillows in the bed. This pillow is just right. The pillow is big, so if you are in a bed smaller than a queen (I am in a king) you may find it too big for the bed if you share it with someone else. I must say I have caught my husband snuggling up against it, so it is large but it's soft and not intrusive. I was skeptical on spending the money for this, but boy am I glad I did. I read other reviews that said the same thing I am saying and I am so happy I listened. This pillow is really great.

Kind of expensive for a pillow but it does help! 4
I'm 7 months pregnant and from reading books, they said it is best for me to lie on my sides, but I'm so used to sleep on my back that most of the times I woke up found myself in my normal position instead of on one of the sides so i was looking for a pillow that not only helps me to sleep on my side but also provide support for my legs. When I saw the picture of this pillow I said this is perfect for me so I bought it. I didn't know this already comes with the pillow case cover so I did ordered an extra one which I might have to return. The first night I used the pillow, it felt uncomfortable at first because it is big, takes up almost half of the bed!, and bulky. Also, getting in and out of bed was a little hard. However by the second nights and on... I slept like a baby and I actually slept on my sides!!! Just remember to put the pillow case on with the zipper facing out and not facing your body, and just flip up one of the pillow sides when you need to get out of bed.

Well worth it, should have bought it sooner, makes it easier to sleep on your sides comfortably even if you are a back sleeper, can mold into any position. I got it after not sleeping through the night and leg cramps and back pain, now I can sleep through the night. Well worth the price! Very good inexpensive alternative to body pillow - keep a couple of regular pillows on hand too. 4
I bought this pillow around 18 weeks because I didn't like the inflexibility of body pillows (which always stay the same shape) or that reviewers complained that the stuffing in the big pillows shifts around inside.
I do like this wedge a lot and will not travel without it because it defeinately takes the weight off my back by pushing up my tummy. I reccomend having a couple of other pillows though, one behind the back (to keep you from rolling over on your back while you are asleep) one under your head and one or two between your legs. This ends up being alot of pillows but they are more flexible than the body pillows and a lot cheaper. I can also throw this in a suitcase or take it to the living room for a nap or watching television on the couch, which I couldn't do with a larger pregnancy pillow. It is also comfortable to sit on (as is the regular boppy pillow) if you are on the floor for some reason or sitting up in bed.

UPDATE - not so hot after about month 7 or 8. I think this was great in the beginning, but don't expect it to solve your pregnancy related discomfort for the entire pregnancy.

This cushion has to be the best deal out there in terms of pregnancy pillows - at least for women in their 3rd trimester. I paid a lot more mid-pregnancy for a big "Snoozer" body pillow that has been in storage for several months now. For several weeks before buying the Boppy, I was waking up repeatedly with a lot of lower back and hip pain even though I was using a regular pillow to support my belly. With Boppy, I'm now sleeping much better and with a lot less back pain. I just wish I had tried it earlier!

Excellent support for the tummy 5
A friend loaned this to me and I am so grateful. It's been wonderful to have the support under my belly so I feel less pull on my hips. My lower back hurts less now that I am using it. I highly recommend to anyone whose tummy has grown enough that she feels the pull on her hips when lying on her side.

Pillows are worth protecting and this product does just that5
I have been investing in better and better pillows for quite a few years now and I have learned that they are as important as your mattress. When a friend discovered that she had a bedbug problem she was embarassed, but hey, it happens. I have been using Protect-A-Bed covers on my pillows for over 5 years and have grown to trust them. It was important for her to have a set of pillow protectors as bugs and dust mites like to hide in pillows. The zippers on these covers are especially made to prevent the escape of begbugs (I HATE those litte guys!).

If you are spending fifty to a hundred dollars on your pillows (and a lot of people do) you might want to think about protecting them. It's not only the bugs that it protects you from, it also keeps your pillow clean and safe from dirt and grime. Well worth the cost.

Good for some, including me5
I have had a couple pillows of this sort. This one is perfect for me precisely because it is relatively soft and it isn't too thick. I am about 5 ft 8 in and 180 pounds, so not a huge man, but not small. I have knee problems and also a vascular malformation on one lower leg, as well as knobby knees. When I sleep on my side and my knees are together, I often have problems with lateral pressure on one knee, pressure between the knees causing blood stasis in the VM, or other problems. These are enough that I often have trouble sleeping or am awakened by pain. I sometimes sleep with a regular pillow between my legs, which has helped a lot, but it is very awkward under the covers. I tried a similar type of contour leg pillow that had much denser foam and was much thicker, but it was too dense and too thick -- my legs just didn't feel comfortable with it, though I slept a little better. So I was looking for a thinner, softer pillow, which this is.

The bottom line is that these sorts of things depend a lot on personal preference, the size of the individual, why you need a leg pillow, etc.

I was very skeptical about using these but I have adjusted. There is a crinkly sound which I expected but I have found that I am not waking up with the stuffy nose like I did before.

This are easy to use, big enough to fit most any pillow, and don't crinkle and feel bad when they are used. What more can you ask of an allergen barrier cover? They allow you to use the pillow that feels comfortable to you and still get the allergen protection you need.

Just the Down Pillow I Needed For A Gift5
This is the best **soft density** down pillow I could find for the price. It was a gift for my mother and she loved it. Because this review is supposed to be about the product itself, I did not deduct stars for the shipping. It shipped via 2-day DHL and she did not receive it for a week after the online tracking est. arrival date. DHL is horrible, I wish Amazon would not use them for their Free Shipping over $25 offer-or at all!

I received my pillow 4 days ago, and have just ordered two more. I have never been able to sleep on any kind of foam pillows, and am very picky about my feather pillows. This pillow arrived ready to serve me well!!!

It is the most comfortable pillow that I have ever had. I was a bit worried about which density to buy. I do not like a full or firm pillow, but I also need "body" to my pillow. I ordered the soft one, and it is perfect. I wish that I could describe it better, in order to allay any worries that you may have.

The pillow was not flattened during shipping, nor did it need a long fluffing time. I have seen complaints of bad odors in reviews of some down/feather pillows. This pillow is completely odor free.

Go ahead and order. I think you will be very happy. If not, Amazon does have one of the easiest online returns.

luxurious pillows5
These are very nice pillows. The last down pillows I bought cost about 4 times as much and I truly think these are nicer. They are very overstuffed. I went from sleeping on two down pillows to just one of these and I've had them about a month and they are just as nice as when I took them out of the box.

Wonderful!5
I have been using mine for at least 3 years and am slowly buying them for all my pillows, especially the guest rooms. There have been no problems at all; I do close the zippers when laundering. If I had been Sue H., I would have returned the cover with the faulty zipper to the store. I think she just had bad luck. I have six covers and never a problem. Now am contemplating the mattress cover. I'll have to look to see if anyone has reviewed those.

Finally a pillow that delivers5
OK - sleeping on this pillow is pure heaven. The first night, I dreamed my entire bed was made of this stuff, and I woke up with a big smile on my face. I was in exactly the same position I fell asleep in. That is a miracle in itself.

I have severe degeneration of my cervical spine. When I was 28 years old my chiropractor told me I had the neck of a 65 year old woman. I also had a completely reversed curvature. When I saw the xray, I understood. For 25 years since then I have struggled with severe neck pain, and finding a pillow that will just - let - me - sleep - has been impossible. I have paid a bundle for all kinds. This one is a godsend. I'm not saying it's a cure or that it will work for anyone else, just that it works for me.

This 4 pound weight is perfect for me. It is very sturdy with strong support, sinks in very little, and is SO SOFT. It springs right back when pressed, and it does not retain heat. I was afraid I would get sweaty at night, but not so. It's a small pillow compared to the other foam types I've had. It is a standard size, but I wish it was a little longer, more like a queen size pillow. Still it is pure pleasure. I can sleep both on my back and my side, and my head is kept in perfect alignment with my spine. It is by far the best pillow I've had. I wouldn't trade it for all the royal goose down in the world.

See in in person first3
I have come to the conclusion that contour pillows are more of a custom item. What is wonderful for one person is bad for another. This is a good prodcut. For myself i found the hups and the middle dip too extreme for my body. This is not a design flaw in the product by merely a factor of the wrong size. I have another smaller pillow that I got for free when ordering a memory foam pad. That one is a much better fit for me personally. I would recommend that anyone looking into one of these items go out to a store and feel one in person, see if there is a matress you can lie on to try it out. Then come back to amazon and compare prices of the exact same item.

For this particular item, the covering is not the soft velour cover that comes on the Swedish products, it is a terry cloth.

Better than the new-fangled things5
I've been using NeckBones for more than 10 years, always buying a spare in case my old one wears out. My local store no longer carries them, so I decided to look on-line. Clean, Reliable Pillow4
The best features of this pillow are:

1) The soft fleece cover is removable for machine washing, does not shrink and is color fast.

2) The actual pillow is made of a slightly stretchy poly/rubber/vinyl material that will *not* pop & break during ascent due to the air inside of them expanding, unlike many other inflatable pillows. With a little care to not overinflate before ascent and a little venting when needed, this pillow is very forgiving.

3) Pillow folds/rolls up into the pocket on the cover.

While comfort is subjective to each individual, this pillow is very reliable. I've had my pillow over 16 years and it is stll going strong.

I have bought many of these pillows as gifts for colleagues and other fellow travelers who had to deal with popped-pillows.

I am a 5'3" petite woman and the size of this pillow is perfect for me. I've tried the regular sized Comfort Travel Pillow but found it too bulky to to comfortable if I must tilt my head back. However, if you have wider shoulders, a regular sized version may be a better fit.

I've been traveling with an inflatable neck pillow for years and I won't leave home without it. It's hard to sleep upright without any neck support. Be them air travels, car trips, or train rides, having one handy is very reassuring.

As for inflatable inner leaking air. If you have a repair kit for your sleeping pad (you know, the thing to be put under your sleeping bag while camping), you can use it to repair the pillow. If all else fail, stuff the micro fleece cover with a t-shirt to fill it up. It works the same.

Most sites sell this product for close to $20. The $15 offered by Amazon is the best price I can find. You won't regret this investment.

Holds its shape well!5
This is a great pillow! It doesn't "smush" down to a small bundle like some down pillows will. With very little effort, it forms to fit perfectly beneath my head and neck and doesn't go flat. My only mistake in purchasing it was buying queen size. I should have bought regular because my pillow cases are a little tight.

I love this thing, as a lap prop when sitting up, or as a bed prop when laying down. I've been using it with the Kindle and it works fabulously. we got one for me and I sent another to Mom.

It is 100% polyester inside and out. It feels very spongy. The texture is like soft suede. I use it with the Kindle. When turned over, it looks like just another decorative pillow.

Not great for all books3
This book rest is somewhat awkward and my books didn't fit very well. I ended up getting a Thai version which is a triangular backrest with a much larger base for the bottom of the book to rest on and it works great. This is an okay product but not the best out there.

nice but bulky4
i bought this to take on my 3 week trip to europe, it is nice and comfortable. my only complaint is that it is a bit bulky and does not compact at all (thats because it is filled with buckwheat hulls). i will not take it on a trip when space is limited again. for a road trip or a shorter vacation, this would be fine.

wonderful neck and back saving pillow5
I have lived with the Bucky pillow for many years and think very highly of them. I don't sleep without it and carry it with me every time I leave home. I have had back surgery and this Bucky Pillow holds the neck part of my spine and works from side to side as well as on my back. I was so thrilled to find them on your site. Ought to be a standard feature in every new car.5
This silly looking little pillow is wonderful. It holds the head of a napping passenger at just the right angle to snooze, while keeping the neck from getting stiff and hurting when the person wakes up. I started buying these kinds of "donut with a bite missing" pillows about twenty years ago, and got some very strange looks when I used the pillows on long plane flights. Now I see that many travel warriors carry them, and that they are becoming common on long car trips as well. That's terrific.

This particular pillow is very comfortable, with lightweight foam beads inside a thin covering. The covering allows the beads to shift when the user moves their head slightly, so it will be more comfortable than a pillow that doesn't give. Also, the foam beads are much, much lighter than the solid memory foam or buckwheat hulls that I have found in other such pillows. It doesn't feel much heavier than an inflatable pillow, and is much nicer than one, because the foam beads don't make the crinkling noise associated with a plastic inflatable pillow.

The downside is that the thin cloth covering, which allows the beads to move freely, doesn't look very durable. If given to a young child, I would bet that the back seat of the car would be full of foam beads in about three seconds. Happily, I am not a young child, and have used this very comfortable pillow for many months with no problems whatsoever. It comes with a vinyl case, in which I store the pillow when not in use, avoiding the tears and damage associated with being thrown in the trunk. Otherwise, it gets no gentle treatment from me. If it does begin to tear, I plan to put the whole pillow in a nylon stocking as a quick/cheap repair, so I won't get little balls of foam all over my car. But for now, I'll enjoy the pillow for allowing me to snooze the miles away when it's my husband's turn to drive.

For long trips, this is a lifesaver!5

Great body pillow!5
I am 24 weeks pregnant, and I own this pillow. Before buying it, I was attempting to "make-do" with other pillows I had around the house, and I was waking up multiple times per night, adjusting them back into place. The Boppy pillow has been wonderful. It conforms to my curled-up body, helps me sleep better on my side, and provides great comfort. The pillow is seamed so that the filling doesn't shift around and form lumps during the night. Most importantly, I have been able to sleep through the night peacefully. It was well worth the money. My only complaints are (1) I have to completely flip the pillow over if I want to change sides during the night, and (2) my husband complains that I take up too much of the bed now. I say, too bad for him. :)

I bought these pillows as alittle additional decor for in my daughter's new Tinkerbell room, but these are so multi-functional! I end up half falling asleep on them when we read bedtime stories at night! I LOVE the way they feel.........oh and they look FABULOUS too! I purchased two of the European Sham size (26" square) to fill some decorative shams for my master bedroom. They work just fine, and very nicely fill out the shams. The description says "pillow insert," and that's what I use them for: inserts for decorative pillows -- NOT for sleeping.

It sounds like the "fill-ability" of these might vary depending on what size you get, as some folks have complained about "skimpiness." All I can say is, in the large 26" square size, these are absolutely perfect: nice and puffy, a nice tight fit inside the sham. They look great, and provide a nice amount of back support, too.

I'm thinking of getting a couple more for my guest room. I'm very happy with them.

Hands-down the best neck support I've ever had!5
I suffer from two herniated cervical disks and it is very difficult for me to find a pillow that is just right, not too soft, not too firm, not too low, not too high... Over the years I have tried many, many memory foam pillows, amongst them the Dream Coil pillow, the Tempurpedic, Therapedic, you name it.

All worked somewhat but it seems that the main problem with most memory foam pillows is that they are too firm at first (especially in the winter when it is cold in the bedroom), then mold perfectly to a person's individual anatomy until the material gets too warm from the person's body heat and finally it does not provide perfect support anymore because it gets too soft and allows the head to sink in too far.

Because I was a the point yet again where I was changing out my various memory foam pillows several times a night in order to get comfortable, I was looking for just another pillow to try. Which in this case was the Iso-Cool pillow (the contoured model).

What a find! This is a truly different pillow. For me who sleeps mainly on her side and sometimes awakes on her back, it strikes the perfect balance between support and softness. I simply love it. It does not feel too firm in the beginning, just supportive, and it does not end up being too soft during the night, it simply remains exactly the same. That it doesn't overheat is another perfect feature but I admit I did not buy this pillow primarily for that although it is advertised as a "stays-cool-pillow".

I am very impressed with this pillow and can highly, highly recommend it to anyone suffering from the same condition as I am.

Of course I know from experience that these pillows come on the market and also disappear from it quickly, so I've already bought a second one and will get a few more. Just in case it will wear out one day. Because I want to avoid having to hunt down the overstocks all over the web as I had to do with the Dream Coil pillow a few years back...

UPDATE: I just received my additional Iso-Cool contour pillows. Contrary to the one I had recently bought at JC Penny's, these Amazon-sold ones come without the retail box and a thinner, considerably more basic pillow cover. The pillow cover from Penny's is the nicer one. The one I received from Amazon does not have blue or for that matter any piping, no stitched Iso-Cool logo, quite a bit thinner fabric.

But otherwise they seem to be made of the same material and have the same 15-yr. warranty. Just thought I'd mention that these differ a bit from other Iso-Cool pillows available out there...

UPDATE II:
In September 09 someone commented on my review here saying that Amazon now ships the pillow with the Iso-Cool cover as pictured. That's great - it's a much nicer cover than what I got from Amazon when I first posted this review.

Cool and keeps its shape!5
I have been using this pillow since last Fall and it's worked great. It regulates according to your body temperature so you never feel hot when sleeping. My house gets really warm and having this pillow allows me to sleep and not wake up in middle the night. Plus, I'm really hard on my pillows and this one has really kept its shape over the months.

I cannot stand warm pillow in the middle of the night. I have been searching for the last 10+ years. I even bought a pillow last year, mail ordered from Japan which they claim they have this "so called" heat transfer gel on the pillow, which cost me $120 and doesn't do ANYTHING. (lesson...)

So, I came across this Iso-Cool pillow on Amazon, I got the Contour version... I was VERY skeptical in the beginning... but once I sleep on it for the first night, I totally LOVE it.

1. It KEEP MY HEAD COOL, still warms up where the head contacts, but it DOES NOT warms up to a degree that annoys me (unlike one of the "original" memory form pillow which sold for $99+)
2. IT DOES NOT SINK. Again, unlike one of those "original" memory form pillow, this one give VERY GOOD support, and it does not make my head "sink" into the pillow.
3. I bought that kind of "water filling" pillow insert twice, and both of the time it leak after a year use. YES, it can keep my head cool, but still, the WHOLE insert will warm up after like 5-6 hours. This Iso-Cool does not keep on warming up during long hour of sleep, seems like it will stop warming up, up to certain temperature. THE BEST PART, IT WON'T LEAK.... (it is just a big block of form)

It DOES smell a little bit, like some new car/chemical smell to me when I first opened it from the package, but the smell dies down quick. Like the comment from the other user said, if the smell annoys you, I recommend to let it sit in open air for maybe a few days before you use it. For me, I just used right from the packaging.

BUT, even it sounds so amazing, but PLEASE, if possible, like myself, get one and try it out from a local store first, since NO ONE has the same preferences.
To me, this IS the pillow I was looking for, finally!

I was horrified when this pillow arrive flat as a pancake that had been rolled. Once we got it out of it's airtight packaging it took on a new life. It's really a great pillow. Very nice pillow protector4
I was skeptical about buying these pillow protector covers sight-unseen as I was concerned they would be "plastic-y" and it would be noisy and unpleasant to sleep on them. In contrast, they are made of a very soft and flexible fabric and not noisy at all. The surface is velveteen-like, the zipper stitching is small and uniform and overall they seem to be a high quality product. The size is more than adequate to cover a large bed pillow. I did not give this product 5 stars as 1) I can't really tell if they have reduced my allergies (mild) 2) I have not tested whether they are indeed waterproof and 3) I haven't washed them enough to know how they hold up after several washes. Assuming they indeed prevent dust mites and bacteria from breeding and are waterproof and long-lasting, I recommend this product.

keeps my neck drier every night, but use in moderation5
Due to the fact that I sweat a lot in my neck at night without a waterproof pillow covering, I bought this covering for all of my pillows. It's OK. It keeps my neck and head completely dry every night.

I also use these on my childrens' pillows, since this product prevents any extra urine from filling up into the pillow itself, therefore making the real pillow-fibers themselves more "stuck-together". But please take note: this pillow protector can't be used with really tiny children, since it has a zipper to close it up, down the one side of the protector itself.

Great for traveling5
I took this pillow on a 3 week trip around India and slept like a baby everywhere. Indian beds are hard but their pillows are super large and unyeilding. Note: I took a little of the buckwheat husks out of the pillow to make it a little more flexible. Now I am using the same pillow on my own bed. I probably won't ever use any other pillow for my head.

good idea4
If one is looking for a natural pillow filler which has little or no chemicals and likes it to be very, very firm - as I do - this is the right one. The buckwheat has a sound to it as it moves around that is soothing to me. If you buy such a pillow just don't expect it to be like the pillows you know or you might be dissapointed.

I like the product. It might not have to be filled quiet that tight.

This is a much better find than anything I could have found at a department store or Target/Wal-Mart. The cases are a good thickness -- they protect the pillows but don't make them stiff. They zip up and the zipper doesn't bunch or catch. I've seen more poorly-made ones sell for more. Definite repurchase!

Just What the Doctor Ordered5
I have had some trouble sleeping , (waking up every day with a blinding headache), and my doctor reccomended that I get new pillows, as part of an ongoing approach. These have helped tremendously, plus they are nice and fluffy, with good support for your neck. I highly reccomend them.

We needed an AFFORDABLE rectangular shaped memory foam travel pillow that included a fitted pillowcase and a travel cover. We have been traveling with this one for 3 months and feel it was definitely a great value and a wonderful travel pillow!

You can tell by the density that it is not the same as our TempurPedic brand items BUT it also doesn't carry their hefty price tag either, so if it gets lost somewhere in our travels it won't sting the wallet too much for a replacement.

These are the items included in the box:
1 rectangular memory foam travel pillow
1 white velour pillow case (zipper closure, removable & machine washable)
1 black nylon travel cover (zipper closure/machine washable)

The travel cover requires you to roll the pillow up like a Hostess Ho-Ho and insert it into the cover (which is also shaped like a Hostess Ho-Ho) then zip up the cover. It takes a little practice but is worth the effort to save space while traveling since we keep it in our carry-on bag.

FYI: We use this pillow for lower back lumbar support for on the plane and as an extra pillow for comfort at the hotel.

Travel pillow for cheap4
After a recent trip I was in the market for a small tavel pillow. Since our bed/pillows are tempurpedic I wanted a similar material in a travel pillow. These run about $70+ at the airport. I purchased 2 for less than half that price here on amazon after shopping around. We have not yet taken them on a trip but they have found a permanent home on the couch where a full sized pillow might be too much. The only downside is finding pillow cases for a smaller than average pillow. It really should come with some sort of washable case. Other than that I'm extremely satisfied with the quality and comfort of these pillows. Would recommend for anyone looking for a smaller than full sized pillow.

Unbelievable5
This pillow is firm, but not hard. It is exactly what I needed since I have constant neck pain. The material is super soft and not the cheap material I would expect from such a low price. If you have neck pain, this is definately the pillow you want. Most side sleepers will benefit from this because side sleepers tend to have problems with neck pain. I use this during the day sitting in my office chair, so when I lean back it is a comfortable fit. Sometimes I use it when I sleep at night and wake up without neck pain. I like that it is not too soft because it would not give me the support I need if it was. It is not hard, only firm, but after a few weeks it will soften up a little. The material is elegant and high-quality. I would definately pay more money for this pillow, so it is a great value at under $15.00.

Pretty good travelling pillow4
I recently went on a 15 hour flight with this pillow. It was supportive without being a rock, yet firm enough so that my head didn't feel like my neck was the sole support. My mom had another massaging pillow that was as hard as a rock. She "borrowed" my Ortho Therapy pillow and never gave it back for the flight duration (though she did make sure that I carried it off the plane, not her.) It's a pretty comfortable pillow and it'll be going on another flight with me in the future.

My new best friend!5
I am now almost 5 months pregnant and was waking up every morning with back pain and hip pain from not sleeping comfortably. I tried a regular pillow between my legs, but found it was not enough support. I then saw this pillow in Babies R Us and bought it. I LOVE it! I love how it's all in one, a pillow to support my belly and for in between my legs to keep my hips aligned. I like the softness of the pillow and it's not too big and offensive that it kicks my husband out of bed. It's easy to roll with me from side to side in the middle of the night and now I also use it to sit up in bed at night when I read.

I think this is a great product especially considering it is cheaper then some of the other products on the market and it provides support right where I need it so I don't need 5 different pillows or wedges to support me and my growing belly. I definitely recommend it to anyone!

Fit For A King!5

The Organic Aromatherapy Buckwheat Pillow might be labeled Queen Size but it is fit for a King! The pillow is a bit small when compared to a regular queen size but the benefit of using it to get a good night's rest is 'HUGE'! My husband, aka 'The Boss' and 'King of the Castle', says there is no doubt about it, using his Organic Aromatherapy Buckwheat Pillow - Size (14" x 20") helped him attain his first good night's sleep in weeks. Hey! The weird shape works!5
I really hate the conventional neck pillows and I wasn't about to spend $70 on a full neck ring thing so I tried this pillow out on a trip to China. It looks strange but it blows up easily and works quite well. It can be reversed for either side of the head (just remember to push in the spout). I carried it around everywhere. Great Job Mr. Steves (or company)!

Almost Perfect4
This pillow is really comfy and the head rest part is genius. I was concerned about getting an inflatable pillow because the edges are often rough and rub your neck raw. That is not the case with this pillow. Once it's inflated, the pillow is awesome. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars, though, is because I had a heck of a time getting it inflated. I had to pinch the valve in a really particular way and blow really hard to get air to go in, so I wouldn't recommend this for someone with breathing problems or weak hands unless you have someone else that can inflate the pillow for you. Otherwise, a really excellent product.

Comfy5
I was a little worried with durability after reading other reviews already posted but, I've found nothing worrying so far.

I love the nice color...it's a crisp green that reminds me of the little tree frogs we have around here--and it's a cozy cover. I also really like the simple design for inflation and deflation. You blow it up with about 4 deep breaths and then if it's too hard/full then you gently push the little plastic flap to deflate the pillow. It'll take you about 4 uses before you figure out the exact amount of air you need for a comfy neck.

The only disappointment I can find is the size of the pillow when it's totally deflated. It is a little bulky with the cover left on, and would take up about the space of a regular sized paperback novel in your carry on. So, you can always take the cover off when packing and then put it back on when you're ready to use it. I've used it to support my neck while reading in bed and was so comfy I fell asleep about 10 words in.

Great to Sleep With5
I bought this for my special someone, and she loves it. She has regular back and neck pain, and had struggled in the past to find a good pillow.

She had used down, cotton, firm, soft, and even put a rolled towel in the bottom of the pillowcase to provide support, but not until she used this pillow did she truly find comfort.

So, people seem to like the Pro/Con breakdown; here's mine:

Pros:
- Comfortable support for your head and neck
- Good quality cover, and fits easily into current pillowcases
- Two different-sized "contours" (small/large) to fit any size neck
- Great weight for pillowfights

Cons:
- Only one pillow (too small to share comfortably)
- Makes current pillows seem weak, awkward, and generally lame
- Devastating to lamps during pillowfights

I would recommend buying two of these pillows - so far, only buying one has been my only regret.

I am been using this pillow for 8 months now and am very happy with it. It gives great support and is really comfortable. It really helped my neck and back aches I have had for years.

I am a bigger broad shouldered guy and I had to put a 1" stiff foam riser under the pillow because my neck is far away as is. On my back I it felt great but I sleep on my side, the 1" rise of it really did the trick. I have tried other contour pillows and have experienced the same issues with them being too low for good neck position.

Cool Little Pillow5
This is a great little pillow. It is very firm but softens up with the heat of your body. I have had cronic neck pain and this really helps. It is also a nice size for travel.

Note: If you are looking for a soft squishy pillow, this is NOT it.

Fabulous Pillow! 5

A bargain at any price5
I own several of these pillows and absolutely adore them. I have chronic back pain as a rule, and not only have these pillows helped me immensely for getting better sleep, but now that I am pregnant as well, they've proven every bit as useful for using instead of expensive and bulky pregnancy pillows. You can use these singly or in groups to really customize your support and comfort where you most need it. These are an eminently portable size, so I also keep one in the car to lean my head on during long family car trips. My only complaint about them is that you can't buy spare or replacement pillowcases for them, but the pillowcase that comes with it machine washes nicely and holds up pretty well. The foam is a comfy firmness-- not rock-hard and not insubstantial-- so it will work well in any number of applications. LOVE this product and would highly recommend-- a bargain at any price!

Good for neck support4
I bought this hoping it would be appropriate for sleeping, but I find it a little awkward for a full night's sleep. However, it is great for neck support while reading and watching television, so overall I am happy with this product. I look forward to using it for travel support as well.

This product is well made and the filling has a nice "give" while being supportive. The cover seems very durable and the fabric is nice - I wouldn't feel awkward carrying it around an airport. I recommend this for people who suffer from neck pain/stiffness and require extra support.

Great little pillow4
This pillow is great for when you are watching TV or sitting with your laptop. I tried it for sleeping, but I am a side sleeper and it wasn't that comfortable. When it is comfortable is when you are sitting! It gives your neck so much more support. If you have a lot of stress in your shoulders and they ache-get this pillow! Love the material, too-smooth to the touch. The handles on the ends make it effortless to put the pillow in place.

You need this pillow5
I got this when I was just beginning to show and I loved it so much. I heard all the other pregnant women who couldn't sleep because they couldn't get comfortable; obviously they didn't have this touch of heaven. It is big, but i slept in a different bed while i was pregnant(why torture my husband with my bizarre sleep patterns and continuous trips to the bathroom while i was pregnant?). So if you have a queen you and your hubby will have a tight fit in bed with this pillow, but it would be fine with a king. I cut the end out of pillow case so I could have an extra cover over the pillow for my face area(so I didn't have to wash off my eye makeup if i wanted to catch a quick nap). The case that comes over the pillow is great, but you don't want to be taking it off every week to wash, just cut the end out of a pillowcase you don't like anymore and wash the big case less frequently.

Saved my aching hips4
A totally worthwhile investment!

About 12 weeks into my pregnancy, my hips were already aching so badly that I couldn't sleep. I went online and searched for pregnancy pillows and this was the only one I found that mentioned alleviating hip and shoulder pain.

It works. The first night I used it, I slept all through the night with no pain whatsoever.

I agree with other reviewers - the cover is poorly designed and the seam at the U-curve really cut into my shoulder. But I have since inverted the pillow and sleep with my regular pillow slung across the "legs." I like this better as it doesn't prop my head up so high.

The other way I have positioned this pillow is to wrap the "legs" around to create little circular nest to put my belly into so I can nap on my stomach. I can't say it's too comfortable for long-term sleeping, but the novelty of resting in something other than a side-lying position is pure bliss! I have a queen sized bed and my husband hasn't complained a bit about being crowded out. He snuggles right up to me in my "nest" and is still hogging most of the bed, as usual.

Overall, I would highly recommend this pillow - particularly to pregnant women suffering from hip and shoulder pain. Don't worry about the negative comments about the poor design. The cover could definitely be a improved upon, but it's not a deal-breaker. You just learn to compensate for it with different positions, etc. Hopefully the manufacturer will either fix the seam or offer different pillow covers, but even if they never do, you won't want to be without this wonderful pillow.

Helps me sleep and decreases my back pain5
At 6 monthes pregnant I was just starting to have alot of trouble sleeping. I bought this pillow and I love it! I sleep straight through the night now with out tossing and turning trying to get comfortable. I have alot less trouble with back pain throughout the day since using this product. Unlike some of the other pregnancy body pillows I've seen, this one supports both the total back and belly at the same time. It feels so cozy. It also helps keep me on my side because with out it I tend to end up on my back every night. My husband says I look so comfortable sleeping with this pillow that he wants to use the pillow to sleep after I have the baby. He'll have to fight me for it! Sometimes I even use it to sit or lay comfortably on the couch or floor. You can use it in so many ways. Definetely worth the money! At first I was afraid when ordering the pillow that it would take up too much space in our queen size bed and bother my husband but I was so glad to find out it really doesn't. Great product. I would recommend every pregnant woman who has back pain and trouble sleeping to buy this pillow. I am now 8 1/2 monthes and I am still using it. I have also washed it and it washes well.

I have spent hundreds of dollars on pillows over the years and personally feel that the Beautyrest Pocketed Coil Pillow is the best money can buy. I have been sleeping with the same pillow for two years and it hasn't lost it's shape yet. The coils prevent that from happening. Once your head comes off the pillow, it springs right back up. I also have these pillows in my guest bedrooms and my company always comments on how great the pillows are.

I am primarily a side sleeper, so I bought this pillow based on the other buyer's review. It isn't the pillow I initially thought it was, but so far I'm very happy with it. I found gussetted pillowCOVERS, but my only complaint is that regular pillowCASES (std, queen nor king) do not truly fit these pillows. Standard width on pillowcases are 20 inches, the length is what varies. But the pillow is gussetted, so it's lofty as it is. I took it out of the package and laid on it, loved it. That night I put a pillowcase on it and couldn't sleep on it, because 20 inches makes the pillow tighter, too hard. So I slept on it for 3 nights with no case, I put the case back on and it seems to fit a LITTLE better.

a great pillow5
this is a very nice pillow. the coils make it very cushy, yet it's very comfortable under your head. it feels nice and soft but doesn't collapse and disappear under you. my husband loves it and we both are sleeping better since buying these pillows. i recommend them to anyone, especially if you sleep on your side or like plenty of support under your head.

It's just a pillow3
Some of Amazon's pillows, like this one, have suggested retail prices that stretch credulity. Supposedly this one retails for $79.99. It is currently selling for $39.99. If you are a regular Amazon shopper, you already know that prices can change from hour to hour. I purchased this for $14.54, which was somewhat more than it's worth, notwithstanding the claim. This is not even a down pillow; it's synthetic; I hasten to add that there is no smell. The cover is well made, and there is a fair amount of support in the pillow, i.e., it doesn't mash down. However, it's still just a $10 pillow in my estimation. The queen size is pretty close to king size; it fits into a king pillowcase with little room to spare.

Okay, but nothing special3
I am glad I got this pillow at the bargain close-out price. I got a reasonably decent pillow at a reasonably decent price. However, this pillow is nothing to get excited about. After sleeping on it overnight, I woke up to find it compressed just like any other pillow I've used. After fluffing it for a few seconds, it returned to its original shape. If you qualify for free shipping like I do, then purchasing this item is not a bad deal. But don't expect any miracles. I'm still waiting to find the pillow of my dreams.

Fluffy pillow gives good support and stays cool4
I'm allergic to down so I have to order hypoallergenic types of pillows. I ordered one of these to try since it was on sale for 12 bucks. I liked it right away but you really have to sleep on a pillow a few nights to see how it fares. After a a week trial, I decided that I liked it so I ordered more. After a months I'm still pleased. The pillow gives good support without being too firm. I fall asleep quickly and have no neck pain in the morning. Now that it is getting warmer, I especially appreciate that the gel fiber seems to stay cooler than a regular pillow. If I wake up hot, I flip over the pillow and it is noticeably cooler than my old pillows. I've spent a lot more on pillows that I did not like as well. I recommend these for every bed, esp at Amazon's bargain price!

Alleviates back pain, Expensive for material3
My mother sent me this product as a gift when I was 4 months pregnant, at a time when my hips and lower back were consistently stiff and achey after a night's sleep. Here are my thoughts in conjunction with the other reviews:

1. Yes, it is big and takes up space, however I now use two pillows instead of seven to get comfortable, so it's a lot less hassle to adjust when I roll over. I like to sleep with my belly propped on the long supportive side, but do find a need to keep a standard pillow on the side that has the opening, so if I turn over I have something to support my belly... otherwise my lower back is very achey by morning.
2. I like the curves at the top and bottom. When lying on my side, it supports head, neck, and knees. I also have awakened several times lying on my back, feeling VERY comfortably cradled (which is different for me, as I NEVER slept on my back pre-pregnancy).
3. I am a fuller figure mom, and the added pregnancy weight in my chest and stomach area by four months was causing significant problems with aches and acid reflux/heartburn pain. I find that this pillow can be manuevered to prop me up without shifting through the night, as my standard pillows did, which is imperative to lessen these discomforts.
4. After using it nightly for a few months, the filling has not lost any supportive qualities.

Over all, I do find sleeping with it to be more pleasurable than standard pillows, and my aches and pains upon waking are quite minimal. Reading other reviews, I cannot help but wonder if my being fuller-figured makes it a better product for me. I have a fuller-figured friend whose experience with it has been the same as mine. I could understand if it seems more imposing and cumbersome to a smaller framed woman, though.

I do regard it as a sleeping necessity at this time and am thankful to have received it as a present, however I took a "star off the rating" as I do not feel the materials are worthy of the price. It is no different from standard pillows in filling material or firmness. $$$ is quite an inflated price for a product whose only difference from other materials on the market is shape. If money is not an object, or nights are miserable and one is desperate, I could see investing the money. I personally will get the money's worth because I received it early in my pregnancy. (I would feel bad that my mom spent so much on it if I used it only for month or two, but that's just my opinion of value.) After pregnancy, I don't think that I will keep it in the bed, as I would prefer to lie next to my husband rather than a pillow. Right now I am so large that I can't get near my husband anyway without my belly getting in the way, so it's not a major problem that we have a barrier between us.

The other "star rating deduction" is about the "cover" that comes on it... It is made of a coarse fabric that causes mild discomfort when directly touching my skin. I rectified this problem by sewing my own cover (out of two yards of soft cotton fabric that added additional cost to the use of the product) that I traced from the cover that came with the pillow. This is not a pillow that one can just throw a regular pillow case on, so a custom one must be made or bought (if they even sell them). If you don't have the time or ability to do this, then the "scratchy" fabric could definitely pose a discomfort to sensitive skin. With my homemade cover, there is little STRUCTURALLY that I can complain about.

I DO use it daily and it offers me relief from a certain level of discomfort, however the bottom line is what price you put on comfort. For some, the comfort attained will not justify the price, for others it may be priceless to get even a small amount of relief.

My personal rating is 3/5 stars as it comes. If it were less costly and came with a soft pillow cover, I would change my rating to a 5/5 star.

Made sleeping easier4
This pillow made me more comfortable at night and I could sleep easier. Around my fifth month, I had a hard time sleeping. I could not get comfortable and was awakened by frequent leg cramps. I put this pillow under my head, around my back and between my legs. It kept me on my left side during the night and the extra support between my legs lessened my leg cramps. The cover washed up very nicely and the pillow rolled up and fit right back into the plastic bag after my baby was born.

My only complaints are that it takes up so much room in the bed when the sheets are tucked in, the pillow case is difficult to get off and on when it needs to be washed and the pillow doesn't fit me as well as it does the woman in the picture. I am 5'10" and my head just fits on the top end and the bottom end goes between my thighs instead of my knees. But overall, I was very happy with this purchase.

Wonderful pillow!!!!4
As a long time back and stomach sleeper I found it hard to pile up all of my pillows around me and still have room for my husband. I was told about the Snoogle by a male friend of mine at work who raved about how when his wife got out of bed, he would curl up in her Snoogle. They had been sold out in Babies R Us stores for weeks and I finally found one. This pillow will for the most part keep you on your side and its so comfy that my husband tries to steal it away from me. Only down side is there are no covers for it so it gets dirty pretty fast. I'm on bed rest for the next two months and its a blessing to be able to have such a multi-functional pillow. You can use it on either side, tuck it under your legs and when sitting up in bed you can take the tighter curled side under your head and bring the bottom part of the pillow over your belly and read while supporting your arms. I actually have it set up this way now with my laptop on it. Great pillow. Highly recommend!!!

High quality product5
We've used buckwheat hull pillows for many years, but ours had finally worn out and needed replaced. I ordered two of these pillows from beans72dotcom and could not be more pleased!

The outer shell is very high quality: thick, durable muslin fabric with fine stitchwork and a good zipper. It is obvious that these pillows were painstakingly made and will last for many years.

The buckwheat hulls also seem to be of high quality: little to no broken pieces, no stems or debris, and nice and clean. Also, the seller offers additional plain buckwheat hulls for sale if/when the hulls compact over time (this is called polishing, it is explained in detail in the flyer that came with the pillows). This shouldn't be necessary for quite awhile, buckwheat hulls are very durable and we have had the mass-marketed and produced pillows we own for almost ten years.

These are very comfortable pillows and if you are in the market for a buckwheat hull pillow, I'm sure you will be very satisfied with this purchase.

When you buy cheap you get cheap...only worse when I think about it, can you imagine laying your face on a dirty, FUMIGATED pillow and breathing whatever it was fumigated with for 8 hours per night?

I think that this is the best pillow, and I've tried quite a few. I don't know about the other buckwheat pillows but this one seems to be the best of the bunch. The buckwheat hulls comfortably mold to the shape that your head, neck and/or shoulders compress them into, while still providing great support. If you have issues with your neck and shoulders after sleeping, as I do but less so as I sleep with this pillow, then I highly recommend this pillow to you, though it may not be quite as useful for those of you who switch positions often or are otherwise physically restless before sleep or during the night (as it takes a few minutes for it the hulls to settle into position). Sweet dreams!

Very lofty, not firm - not what I expected4
I'm not happy with this pillow, although it is very well made and obviously high quality (thus the four stars). If you are looking for a light and fluffy body pillow, this will suit your purposes well. For me, it was too fluffy and not nearly as dense or firm as I would have liked. When you lay with this one, it seems like it doesn't put any space between your knees, but it is still all billowed up everywhere else! I found it annoying and was unable to continue using it.

I read that many pregnant women buy body pillows for proper back support. I bought because my old back injury was acting up and I thought if nothing else it would make a good pillow to go on the bed for reading against.

I was happily suprised how nice and soft it felt - trust me I went to alot of local stores and their body pillows were like bricks. This one not only was soft - but even thr fabric was really nice - versus the junk out there that has cheap flannel on them.

When I go to bed at night I sort of cradle it between my knees and sleep with my neck onit - like a big banana - its great. I really love the new Pinzon collection - glad to see them going beyond books.

Great Pillow for Mom's to Be5
I just gave this pillow Pinzon 300-Thread-Count Cotton EnviroLoft Body Pillowto my sister-in-law who is far along in her pregnancy. She has told me this is just what she needed to alleviate some of her lower back issues and helping her with proper spine alignment. Durable and heavy4
This bedrest is surprisingly heavy and takes two hands to maneuver from behind oneself, but it is very well made and seems unlikely to fall apart as the previous bedrest I had did. The seams are double-stitched and the fabric is sturdy. As another reviewer said, it is not a squishy pillow. It gives lots of back support, preventing one from slouching down, but may be less comfortable than a softer one would be. I find it necessary to put a smaller pillow behind my head if I want to lean back. However, I am very pleased with its substantial quality and may buy one for my husband too. The color is a khaki tan--not cream as in the picture. It is a neutral color which should not soil easily.

It's a bit darker than the ivory color depicted in the picture, but that worked out even better! I love everything about this pillow. I will admit it's stiff and a little on the hard side, but when I'm sitting up in bed it holds it shape while still giving me the support I need. I think over time, it will soften up, but if it doesn't it's still great in my opinion.

I have really enjoyed this product, especially compared to reading in bed with only a pillow. This pillow is very firm and provides lots of support. I don't mind the color being a little darker than the photo. My 8-year old was so fascinated with it himself, that we had to order a child's version for him. I was a little hesitant about purchasing this product regarding a few of the issues some reviews mentioned (price, quality, seam, size), but now that I have used it I am incredibly glad I bought it. I am 6 months pregnant, 5'7'' and have a fairly slender build and sleep on a queen size bed with my husband.

Here are the things I love about this pillow:

1. My overall sleep time has increased and deep sleep has improved. I think this is because the pillow hugs all around my body and I can roll over without adjusting 4 pillows. Now I don't even have to move the pillow, it is already where it needs to be.

2. Before pregnancy I always slept on my back and the switch to side sleeping has been incredibly difficult. This pillow has helped me feel comfortable on my side as well as offer kind of an in-between back and side position. Also, it has kept me from rolling on my back naturally while I sleep, which has been most helpful.

3. There are many positions to use this pillow as well as many positions you can assume with each pillow position. It also supports a growing belly very nicely.

4. I personally find the pillow stuffing to be pleasantly soft yet supportive at the same time.

5. This pillow is great for mid afternoon rests and short breaks.

6. Though it is a bit bulky it takes up only my half of the bed (queensize). My husband has not been annoyed or cramped because of it. In fact he often snuggles up against it in the night.

Cons: (minor ones at that)
1. A little pricey. But what price would you pay for a better, less miserable night of sleep.

2. Slightly rough pillowcase.

3. Less snuggle time through the night with hubby, but we can still be pretty close.

This pillow has fit my needs very well and has been worth the money.

**As an update. June 2008. This pillow has really helped me post partum. Nursing has been easier, it is very comforting to snuggle in when I'm feeling a little blue, and my body aches have been reduced thanks to it's many support positions. I personally feel that I would not have been very comfortable without this pillow especially the last 2 months of pregnancy.

I have one additional complaint about it. the pillow case became quite nubby and even more rough in some spots (mostly the area that my feet and legs occupied).

The BEST Cervical roll-- for me, at least5
As a physical therapist who suffers from neck pain, this is the ONLY pillow that I can use without waking up to having cervical muscle spasms in the mornings. This pillow is great for people who do not have the normal curvature of the cervical spine a.k.a.-- straight necks (cervical arthritis etc).
I bought one 3 years ago at CVS & have been looking for a year now for a replacement since mine cannot support my neck very well anymore. It has been a week that I have been waking up to neck spasms & I am delighted to find that it is here at Amazon. It was here all along, I just have been typing in the wrong name-- cervical pillow, cervical roll, neck roll etc.... I am happy that I remembered what my 5 year old son called it-- BONE, typed it, and boy was he right.

Great Shape for a Pillow, But You Might Need to Sew It A Little4
I really love this pillow. I am a shorter person with a small frame, so I thought it might be too big of a neck pillow for me. But its design seems to accomodate people of all shapes and sizes.

I have been using it most nights as my primary pillow, after a few weeks when I changed the case I have over it, the seam at one end had started to pop. It was a 5 minute fix job, I just restitched the open part and re-inforced some of the stitching around it. Now it is a happy pillow again.

I was skeptical, but this is the best neckroll I've ever used5
I have posted a photo of this pillow strung to my Morris chair. Note the beautiful kitty who's only 9 months old...you don't get one of these when you order a pillow ;o)

I now own 3 of these: 2 small & 1 large. The large one is great for lounging on the floor to read (in front of the fireplace is my top spot). I use one of the small ones in bed for support while reading or watching DVDs. The other I attached to my Morris chair so that it never needs to be adjusted (I get up and down from my chair a lot & now I sit right back down & the pillow is already at the perfect level). I love them & will get a few more for gifts.

Lumbar Cushions5
I brought two Ortho Therapy Lumbar cushions for my car. My Father is 84 years old and I drive him and my mother around a lot and we sometimes take long trips. My father has a bad back and usually after just a hour or so in my car his back is really soar. I brought the cushions which both my parents use on our trips even the ones just to the store. My father can now ride in the car with ease. He told me there is a real difference and he really liked the cushion that it did help a lot. He use to be so sore that when he got out of the car he had a hard time standing, now he seem to get out with ease. We have found the cushions to work very well. We like that the cover can come off to be washed when needed. We will be using them for a long time. I think they are better then the smaller roll lumbar cushions, they support your whole lower back and are very comfy. I would recommend them for anyone who has lower back discomfort.

Support pillow4
Pillow is not good for someone who is 6 feet tall. It just doesn't hit my back in the right place. It is also quite narrow for me. My husband at 5'8" uses the pillow all the time, loves it.

The Feathers Don't Poke Me!
I love these pillows because they are jumbo size and the feathers don't come out of the casing. I would suggest buying 2 sets if you like more volume in your pillows.

Good pillows for the money
They seemed a little flat in the packaging, but once in a pillow case and fluffed up they were fine. Don't rip off the tags like I did, doing so opened up a seam on the side and feathers were coming out. These are good pillows for the price, and "normal" feather pillows are hard to find in stores here for under $50. Pike Street is Amazon's private label, if you were curious. I plan on buying a couple more sets.

great pillow
If you've ever been to any normal store that has pillows, you'll know that finding a body pillow that wont die in 5 seconds is hard. I've had this for a few weeks now and it shows no signs of loosing its fluff, of which it is very fluffy, but not so much that it will smother you. If it lasts longer than my other failed attemps, I may have to stock up.

Pregnant? Too Hot!
I bought this pillow to help support my pregnant belly when I was 5 months pregnant. I used it twice. It is too hot! If you are pregnant and you are warm most of the time, I don't recommend this pillow. Also, it is very bulky and hard to manage in a queen size bed with another person in there too. I could just be wierd but I thought I would share that it really seems to keep the heat and was just too hot for me.

Good Pillow for the price
It has been over a month and I am still happy with the pillow. I only wish it had a little more fluff to it.

Well-Constructed, But Geared for Special Needs
I didn't have any neck pain to relieve when I bought this pillow. I chose it because I thought it would provide a sort of head-cradling feel, which I like. In retrospect, that was an unrealistic expectation.

It's a very well-made pillow, but this firm version is *really* firm. Also, it puts too much pressure on the base of my skull--I'm guessing that even the narrower of the two "lobes" is too wide for the length of my neck. (I'm 5' 3".)

If you really love firm pillows, or if your doctor recommends this type of pillow, go for it. But if you're just a casual shopper looking for a comfy pillow, this might not be the one for you.

Love it!
After 3 whiplash injuries and many years of pain and problems followed by many therapies, I went to a chiropractor who recommended these pillows and sold them in the office. I was skeptical especially since I have tried most of the pillows which were recommended over the years and none had ever helped. I had chronic neck pain and stiffness and for the past several years I also had shoulder pain. I have used this pillow for over a year now and must say I have had a huge improvement in my neck and my shoulders and have very little if any pain at all. There was a breaking in period with this pillow, but I continued to use it and within a few days, I loved it. I am currently on Amazon to purchase a new Tri-core cervical pillow since I recently went on vacation and packed my pillow as always but unfortunately, a bottle of perfume leaked and my pillow is too highly fragranced to use any more. I did go back to the same chiropractors office and bought another pillow, but it was a different brand and although it is shaped much the same, it is hard and just not the same. I love my Tri-core pillow and will not use anything else.

NO MORE NECK PAIN!
After buying dozens of different types of pillows and spending tons of money, I finally found a pillow that finally does what it claims. I have serious cervical and lumbar disk problems and am on disability. I truly needed a pillow that would support my head and neck properly. I no longer wake up during the night to readjust and fluff the pillow and the neck pain is gone. This is NOT a pillow designated for ONLY side sleepers, back sleepers or stomach sleepers. This is a pillow for ANY position you sleep in as it moves with you as it cradles your head and neck. You can control the amount of support and firmness by the amount of water you fill the pillow with. Obviously, it will NEVER go flat!! But be aware that once filled with water, this pillow gets quite heavy thus staying put. I also bought one for my husband who also complains of neck pain and we are happy campers in the morning now!!! No more neck and back pain!
I haven't had any neck or back pains since I started using this pillow about 2 months ago, and I've tried every pillow on the market! I also realized that I haven't had any more shoulder pains since I've used this pillow, and I didn't even realize that the shoulder pains were associated with my pillow. Another thing I like is the fact that this pillow is heavier than the traditional pillow from the water and it doesn't slide or move all over the bed. Great pillows
These pillows feel great. Through a mistake, I got lucky. They actually sent me King-sized pillows instead of the Queen-size that I ordered. I was going to exchange them because they stick out of the ends of my pillowcases. Instead, I shook the goose feathers down to one end, folded and stitched back about 6-inches of the pillow to shorten them, now they feel a lot better than any Queen-sized pillow that I could have bought. Imagine, a Queen-size pillow with more feathers. Good stuff! :o)

A bit too soft
It's a good pillow but a bit too soft for my taste. Nice if you like a pillow that you can really sink into. These are longer pillows than "standard" but I did have cases this size.

Best $20 pillow pair I've ever owned
For $20 for TWO pillows, I can't understand how anyone could actually complain about these.

I sleep with 2 pillows and I always have feather-down pillows on the bottom and all down for the top pillow. These are perfectly fine and I don't see much of a difference from my old more expensive ones. I don't like how the cover feels but I put them in pillow covers so that's moot.

You can't go wrong buying these.

So far so GREAT!
I've now slept on this pillow for 2 wonderful nights. It's soft and cradles your head and neck. I haven't slept with it with the provided cover - though it's very soft, too. I think the cover constricts the movement of the beads, so it doesn't conform to your head and neck and feels hard. But for $30 I'm highly pleased with this pillow. I'll keep you posted about how it holds up and how it feels down the road.
--Two weeks later-- still love the pillow - put a loose fitting regular pillow case on it to protect it.
--Three Months Later-- still my favorite pillow purchase, may be a moot point, since Amazon does not seem inclinded to carry it any longer. I don't wake up with neck pain with this pillow - and I have lingering whiplash injuries (bulging discs).
--10 months later and final review. Still sleep with this pillow in a regular case. It's the still the best, though the long channel of microbeads has gotten less fluffy over time. I would still buy it again even if I had to buy one a year.

Great pillow but has some longevity issues
I purchased this pillow about a year ago and have been well pleased with it. I just purchased a new one for my mother. Since the beads are displaced by the weight of your head, it is a very comfortable pillow, not having any hard spots, and it is cool.

As has been mentioned by others, I found the pillow a little to firm with the supplied cover so I just used a normal pillow cover. After a couple of months the pillow started to get less firm, so I put the supplied cover on and it firmed right back up.

The beads in the pillow sort of work like water would. When you lay your head on it, the beads are displaced by the weight of your head and that weight is distributed on the internal pillow case. So the pillow case ends up determining the firmness of the pillow. Over time it stretches so the pillow becomes less firm since the beads have a bigger pillow case to fill.

After a couple more months of using the supplied pillow cover the pillow was not very firm again as the pillow cover had stretched. So I rolled up the end of the supplied pillow cover and pinned it with safety pins (being carefull not to pin the internal pillow case as the beads would probably come out the pin hole) and put the whole thing in a normal pillow cover. This has worked well. Every now and then I have to roll-up the cover a little more, but this method allows me to adjust the firmness to whatever I like. So the extra messing around has its advantages.

I may stretch the pillow case a little more than others since I tend to set up in bed to read and lean against the pillow with my upper body weight, but I doubt that anyone would get much more than a year out of the pillow without doing something to keep the pillow from stretching.

Excellent Pillow for people with neck or shoulder pain
We bought this pillow for our daughter who was experiencing neck and shoulder pain in the mornings. After just a day or two of using this pillow the pain and shoulder strain were greatly reduced. After a few weeks, the pain is gone.

These microbead pillows are great for people who need neck support while they sleep. I highly recommend them if you have this problem.

good reviews vs. bad reviews explained
I think that the reason that some people are giving this pillow bad reviews is that the description does not properly explain the feel of this pillow. This is not a HARD pillow (what most would consider firm.) It is also not quite a SOFT pillow (no resistance beneath your head.) It is a SPRINGY pillow. It could also be described as bouncy.

Let me draw an analogy to shoes. A Birkenstock sandal has a firm supportive footbed--but no bounce. A cushioned slipper has a soft footbed--but still no bounce. An athletic shoe has a springy footbed. It is flexible, slightly hard, and has bounce. This pillow would be analogous to a less hard (but very springy) athletic shoe.

This is my all-time favorite pillow. It does need to be aired out for a while to be rid of the latex smell. I like it much better than memory foam. With memory foam you just sink. With latex, your head is cradled like in a hammock.

I think those who wrote bad reviews actually wanted a different type of pillow. This is an excellent pillow--you just need to know what you are getting. When it comes to firmness, on a scale of 1 to 10, with 1 being soft and 10 being hard, this pillow is a 3. For springiness, on a scale of 1 to 10 with 1 being flaccid and 10 being a balloon or a super bouncy ball, this pillow is about a 7. The manufacturer just needs a better writer to describe their product.

The most wonderful pillow ever!
I've been looking for a foam pillow, remembering as a teen I had one and loved it. I never can find a good pillow--my neck hurts, my TMJ would get worse, or my ears would be sore. I have had a very hard time finding a good one, and was thrilled when I found this on amazon. Latex foam pillows are far superior in comfort to the popular "memory foam," which I think is so uncomfortable--I mean, it smooshes down and stays there--how is that support? Latex foam, on the other hand, is light, but so supportive. It's springy--it's gently lifting you up. Anyway, I've had it for about a week and slept better than I have in years. I absolutely love it! Also, I can't believe how fast I got it. When I ordered it it was out of stock, and I chose free shipping. Had it in a few days. Wow! Thanks Amazon. (PS The latex smells a little funny at first, but the smell was completely gone within a few days.)

The perfect pillow
This pillow is very lightweight but amazingly supportive and soft. I had been having trouble with all sorts of pillows. Some would lose their fluffiness and hurt my neck, some were supportive but too hard and hurt my ear. This pillow is a dream come true.

Comparable to down ...
I bought these to replace a couple of down pillows I had that were getting old and rather shabby.

These have the same *feeling* as down, but are heavier (weight). They plump up very nicely, and provide the same support as a medium-firm down pillow. If you have allergies, these are ideal.

I'm really sold on them -- in fact, I'm getting ready to order 4 more. I just wish they came in Queen size.

Did you catch the Oprah show where she berates a relative for having not replaced some gross guest room pillows in years? Well, I'm not that relative, but I did decide to follow suit and order new pillows for our guest room. These pillows seemed more than adequate for periodic guests.

When they arrived, I was impressed and thought that they looked much higher quality than I expected for the price. I decided to try them out in our master bedroom.

After one night, we were sold and tossed out our old pillows. I had to come back and order another set for guests. At less than $10 a pillow, even if they only last a year, I am happy with this purchase.
